Yes. But not simultaneously. The SmartWeb interface is designed for single-user access at any given time to ensure data
integrity and prevent conflicts. If a second user tries to log in while another user is already active, they will
receive a notification indicating that another user is already logged in, along with the user name and IP address
of that user. The first user can press the logout button to end their session, allowing the second user to log in.
My SmartWeb behaves strangely, for example after a firmware update. How can I fix this?
After a firmware update, your browser might still have old data cached version of the SmartWeb. This might lead to
strange behavious of the software, for example not storing changes when pressing “Save” or “OK” buttons, not opening a
new window when pressing such a button, or showing outdated information. The can be caused by your browser using a
cached, and therefor outdated version of the SmartWeb software. To fix this, you need to clear your browser cache. Use
your favorite search engine to find out how to do this for your specific browser. After clearing the cache, reload the
SmartWeb.
My browser cannot connect to the SmartWeb interface. How can I fix this?
There can be several reasons for this. Here are some common issues and their solutions (assuming that the device and
your computer are connected to the same network):
Network configuration: ensure that your computer is on the same network as the ProLink. Check the IP address settings
of both your computer and the device, both should be in the same subnet. Ping the device’s IP address from your
computer to verify connectivity.
Proxy settings: if your browser is configured to use a proxy server, it may interfere with direct access to the
SmartWeb interface. Try disabling the proxy settings in your browser and attempt to connect again.
Which browser can I use to access the SmartWeb interface of ProLink?
We test SmartWeb with the latest versions of Google Chrome. However it will most likely also work with other browsers,
like Microsoft Edge (which has the same engine as Chrome), Mozilla Firefox, and Safari.
